　　2002年，伊拉克戰爭爆發前11個月，美軍駐伊拉克某軍事基地發生奇怪事件，一個監控攝像機錄下了詭異影像，更有試圖查清此事的相關責任人員或者喪命或者瘋狂。軍方甚感事關重大，遂請來在這方面具有豐富研究經驗的“鬼語者”海莉·桑茲前來調查被他們用特殊手段囚禁起來的“鬼魂”。隨著溝通的深入，各種各樣奇怪的是接連發生，身邊或嚴肅或魯莽的軍人們著呈現出怪異的舉止。這一切的背后似乎隱藏著巨大的秘密，“鬼魂”的真面目也漸漸地揭開神秘面紗……　　本片根據真實事件改編。

　　Mikheil Chiaureli是斯大林的御用導演，《攻克柏林》長達近五個小時，分上下兩部，處處著重突出最高統帥的高瞻遠矚。影片結尾，斯大林乘飛機抵達陷落的柏林，接受蘇軍的歡呼。其實這是“藝術虛構”。和《斯大林格勒戰役》一樣，這場實際主要由朱可夫將軍指揮的戰役，影片中絲毫沒有他的影子。當時朱可夫已經因為功高震主，被羅織罪名，發配到烏拉爾軍區去了，這是1946年的事。這部1949年的電影很自然地就將朱可夫的功勞“藝術虛構”到偉大領袖的頭上了。　　因為這部影片，導演連續獲得了兩次國家獎金，包括1950年的斯大林獎金。中國觀眾熟悉的《難忘的1919》（1952）也是出自這位導演的手筆。值得一提的是，這兩部影片都是由蘇聯作曲家肖斯塔科維奇譜曲的。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
