性和后果

　　《火箭人》（The Rocketeer）是迪士尼１９９１年推出的電影，故事題材是由 Dave Stevens 同名的圖文小說改編而成。　　本片是發生在１９３０年代的好萊塢，有一個軍方的秘密武器意外落在一位競技表演飛行員 Cliff Secord 手中，他對此一推進器頗感驚奇， 最后他背上了這付怪東西、戴上面具，成了行俠仗義的『火箭人』，然而各方人馬都想奪得這項秘密武器，尤其有一位好萊塢影壇的知名男演員 Neville Sinclair ，他其實是納粹潛伏在好萊塢的情報份子，為了奪得火箭，他還挾持了 Cliff 的女友 Jenny Blake，火箭人 Cliff 于是展開他的救援行動。　　本片由《親愛的我把孩子縮小了》、《野蠻游戲》、《侏羅紀公園３》以及《百勝天龍》影集的知名導演 Joe Johnston 所執導，他同時也是《星際大戰》系列的特效大師。至于演員方面，男主角 Cliff 由 Bill Campbell 擔任，女主角則是 Jennifer Connelly，至于片中那位大反派間諜演員，則是由曾演過００７的 Timothy Dalton 擔任。　　本片配樂的是 James Horner ，原本原聲帶都已經絕版多年，但在前幾年《鐵達尼號》造成發燒的時候， James Horner 的作品又造成熱潮，迪士尼旗下的好萊塢唱片于是再版發行了這張電影原聲帶，如今則又絕版了。

　　In a small rural community local police officers Zoe and Patrick begin their shift as normal but it soon becomes clear that something is wrong. Strange events unfold before their eyes, residents begin behaving strangely and mass suicide panic spreads amongst the community they are trying to protect. Zoe and Patrick realise they are under siege from alien machines as they become cut off from the outside world. They are forced to do battle against these uninvited visitors. With the help of some of the residents Zoe and Patrick begin unravelling the mystery and soon discover it is not all as it seems. Four friends wanted to get away from it all for a birthday celebration in a remote country house, but when a mysterious injured man turns up on their doorstep telling tales of a city ravaged by a mysterious epidemic and the looters who have pursued him, the friends rally to help. As the night progresses, it becomes clear that all is not as it seems, plunging the friends into a battle for survival that challenges their deepest fears.
