薩卡里·庫斯曼嫩,卡蒂·奧廷寧,安德烈·維爾姆斯,馬庫·佩爾托拉尤哈（薩卡里·庫斯曼嫩 Sakari Kuosmanen 飾）和瑪利亞（卡蒂·奧廷寧 Kati Outinen 飾）是一對生活在幸福和平淡之中的老夫少妻，兩人住在他們經營的農場里，離群索居不問世事。一天，一個名叫辛麥卡（安德烈·維爾姆斯 André Wilms 飾）的男人來到了農場，他的車拋錨了。善良的尤哈邀請辛麥卡在農場過夜，哪知道就此為自己找了個麻煩。 原來，辛麥卡是一個油嘴滑舌的花花公子，他花言巧語誘惑和哄騙了瑪利亞，最終，瑪利亞決定和辛麥卡私奔。然而，來到了大城市后，辛麥卡才露出了自己的真面目，他將瑪利亞賣到了一家妓院里替自己工作。當尤哈得知了瑪利亞的近況后，他決定向辛麥卡尋仇。

端島計劃
蘇查·瑪娜英,阿萍雅·薩庫爾加倫蘇,吳翊歌,亞歷山大·倫德爾南、歐、尼克、竇和梅是五個剛畢業沒多久的新新人類，出于對影視行業和靈異題材的熱愛，他們拍攝了一支鬧鬼廢墟的小短片。雖然沒有獲得相關公司的認可，但一經上傳后很快得到網友的廣泛關注和支持。在此之后，專門拍攝靈異題材的制作公司鬼域（Ghost Land）聯系到他們，邀請三個人前往端島拍攝。端島是位于日本長崎一座形狀酷似軍艦的島嶼，19世紀末曾憑借豐富的礦藏贏得某大型企業的關注，但是隨著能源方式的改編如今已變成遍布廢墟的荒島。 無所顧忌的年輕人們登上端島，期間還遭遇傳說中的美女美子的鬼魂，他們就此厄運纏身……

A magical world of baroque submarines and sailing ships, killer octopus, undersea bicycles dazzles audiences as human actors, puppetry, animation and fanciful scenic design interact to create a cinematic experience that is unique by any standards.
