　　西暦1988年。人類は謎のUFO群の襲來により危機(jī)に瀕していた。人類の存亡をかけ、南海の秘密基地で建造されていた國連宇宙防衛(wèi)艦?轟天は発進(jìn)する。侵略者の正體は、太陽系から2萬2千光年離れたメシエ13と呼ばれる球狀星団?恒星ヨミの第三惑星人だった。彼らは年老いた母星そっくりの地球を征服すべく、指揮官ヘルのもとに金星に侵略の前線基地を築いていた。敵ヘルファイターとの激しい戦闘をくり返し、金星に向かう轟天。しかし、その前に敵の超努級戦艦?大魔艦が立ちふさがる……。

　　厭倦了逼仄臟亂的小公寓，正值青春年少的美麗女孩冰通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)找到一所寬敞闊氣且租金極為便宜的大房子，事不宜遲，她連忙致電屋主預(yù)約時間，并叫上同公寓好友妮娜隨她一同看房。雖然妮娜對該房第一印象不佳，卻無法改變冰的決定。不久之后，滿心歡喜的冰搬入新居，誰知從第一天開始便有怪事在身邊發(fā)生。在此之后，種種詭異事件交替發(fā)生，甚至冰的意識也受到侵襲。擔(dān)心好友的安危，妮娜趕來冰的身邊。　　只是恐怖事件并未就此告一段落，仿佛被詛咒了一般，美麗女孩落入充滿玄幻和恐怖氣息的死亡陷阱之中……

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
