Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble. 　　導演崔東勛的最新“群星陣容”外星人題材科幻大片將于2020年初開機。此前因為確診鼻咽癌而錯過與之合作的金宇彬有望通過該片回歸影壇，同時加盟的演員還有柳俊烈和金泰梨。　　崔東勛導演的這部科幻新作會有外星人登場，將是一部“講述2019年在韓國生活的外星人 的故事”。據(jù)稱該片可能會同時拍攝1、2部，最近第一部的劇本初稿已經(jīng)完成，目前正在創(chuàng)作第二部劇本。

　　該片故事靈感來自于布萊姆·斯托克的經(jīng)典小說《德古拉》，是一部當代恐怖驚悚片，講述一個年輕女子因被追求而變得神魂顛倒，但她意識到，一個哥特式的陰謀正在發(fā)生。
