　　“不準奔跑、不準跳水，天黑以后沒有救生員值勤，不準游泳。”　　影片根據2014年拍攝的同名短片改編，內心深處希望能夠戰勝病魔，再度回歸美國職棒大聯盟打球的雷（懷亞特·拉塞爾 Wyatt Russell 飾）和他的太太伊芙（凱瑞·康頓 Kerry Condon 飾）搬進新家，后院的游泳池不僅讓孩子們玩得開心，也能夠讓他進行物理治療，然而這棟房子陰暗神秘的過去即將釋放一股邪惡力量，把這一家人拉進無法逃脫的恐怖深淵。

葉甫蓋尼·奧涅金的生活很奢華：舞會、招待會、戲劇首演以及首都能為年輕人提供的其他娛樂活動。但社交生活早已讓他疲憊不堪，因此他認為住在村里的叔叔生病的消息是一個逃離令人厭惡的世界的機會。然而，到了莊園后，奧涅金得知一個親戚去世了，但這并沒有讓葉甫蓋尼太難過。他的經濟狀況非常糟糕，叔叔很有錢，卻沒有其他繼承人。奧涅金把自己關在莊園里，避開鄰居，鄰居們很快就開始稱他為怪人。葉甫蓋尼過著漫無目的的孤獨生活，直到從國外回來的莊園主人出現在鄰近的莊園--一個年輕、熱情、對生活尚未滿足的連斯基，他把葉甫蓋尼介紹給了塔吉婭娜和奧爾加·拉林姐妹。

　　程家少爺程亦鵬（范冬雨 飾）癡迷武術，程父試圖用婚姻約束其行為，程亦鵬遂決定遠上少林做俗家弟子，如此既可躲避習武力強的未婚妻小翠，又能學習少林功夫，在與心上人小晴（何晴 飾）話別后，亦鵬奔赴少林。然而師父恒德（趙小銳 飾）日日只是讓一班俗家弟子做苦工，不肯教授少林功夫，師兄弟們雖不滿卻也無可奈何，加之小晴在少林附近落腳，程亦鵬和師兄弟們學著用各種方法苦中作樂。曾經被逐出少林的一游俠在遍訪名師后，意欲挑戰少林，以報當年未學到武功之恨，程亦鵬等俗家弟子被游俠多次毆打，恒德欲同游俠較量反被方丈關入藏經閣。程亦鵬經過苦工打熬，終有習武資格，在恒德指點下向游俠一雪前恥……
