Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present. Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
外星入侵者ZIM
一名想要征服地球的外星人ZIM 假扮成人類，而只有一個妄想狂的小孩Dib Membrane知道這個秘密。本劇于2001年3月30日在美國和菲律賓首播?！ im是來自外星來的小孩,應該說是入侵者,但他在自己不知道的情況下,被母星放逐,不知不覺來到了地球... 以小學生的身分在地球生活,雖然說是入侵者,但是幾乎都沒在進行侵略的動作...(反而在我看過的集數中,拯救地球兩次= =") 而且還要面對面前的敵人-Dib的侵擾(在我看來像是騷擾),Dib是唯一知道Zim是個外星人的地球人,但是因為也是個小孩子,所以沒人相信他. Zim與Dib是同校又同班的敵人(或者說是一對活寶),不時會進行互相乾擾的...笑話 Invader Zim的動畫進行是有點類似PPG(飛天小女警),30分鐘演兩話,1話12分鐘左右,所以每一話幾乎都充滿笑點....
