阿蝶（何超儀飾）是一個中學老師，一天在超級市場遇到了沒錢付款的小葉（田原飾），兩人坐在咖啡廳里聊天，小葉的曖昧行徑令阿蝶想起了自己的一段情，勾起了多年來她深藏起來的原始情感。 少女時代的阿蝶（陳逸寧飾）純真甜美，與真真（蔣祖蔓飾）原來是好朋友，后來真真逐步向阿蝶透露自己的愛意，二人開始交往。事情后來讓阿蝶的母親發現了，逼著阿蝶離開她，被狠狠拆散的她們深感痛楚，真真更就此出家。 小葉的出現使阿蝶與丈夫（葛民輝飾）之間的安靜激起了波瀾，她開始回憶當年與真真在一起的畫面，而且眷戀跟小葉在一起的時光，丈夫開始看到了端倪。 阿蝶找到了出家了的真真（車婉婉飾），真真告訴她自己出家并不是因為阿蝶，真真對蝶說的一番話，令阿蝶知道自己該如何處理自己的感受與面對自己的感情。

This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
