Hanson某座住宅區，負責公寓內各項維修事務的菲恩（Matt O'Leary 飾）和約瑟（George Finn 飾）是一對窮的叮當響的好基友。某天菲恩的女友凱莉（Danielle Panabaker 飾）來到他們的住處，當得知住在隔壁的貝先生已經很長時間沒走出房門時，凱莉自告奮勇上門查看，結果卻一臉錯愕地回到二人面前。原來貝先生早已不見蹤影，房間內一面墻貼滿了以三個人為對象的拍立得照片，窗口則有一臺奇怪的機器正對著菲恩和約瑟的房間。不久后他們發現，那臺機器竟是可以拍攝到未來情景的照相機。他們發現了貝先生的尸體，然而因為照相機的原因秘藏了此事。 無意間擁有了窺視未來的手段，年輕人們的心不知不覺躁動起來……

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

狂龍伏妖
陳浩民,喬牧,肖明玉赤屠龍師兄三人得知祖師爺被將要化成蛟龍的蛟妖所傷，于是自告奮勇去降妖。師兄來到升平鎮，遇到何府搶嬰，得知從骷髏精追回嬰兒的妖人可兒，是年輕時與“梅花鹿精”素素之女?？蓛焊嬷赣H被蛟妖控制在陰風洞。升平鎮內也是怪事連連，許家兒女行為異常，無憂和常樂布下天羅地網捉拿蝙蝠精；另一邊荒郊大宅赤屠龍救下少爺榮華。蛟妖獲悉得知強敵當前，雙方展開激斗，因蛟妖法力強大，赤屠龍身受重傷；他取出祖師爺所贈的錦囊，悟出真諦，入蛟妖體內將其殲滅。素素吐出修練的仙珠救下奄奄一息的赤屠龍，重返深山望有朝一日能得道成仙。
喪尸特警
特里特·威廉斯,喬·皮斯科波,琳賽·福斯特,達倫·麥克加文,文森特·普萊斯,克萊爾·科克奈爾,陸錫麒,羅伯特·皮卡多,梅爾·斯圖爾特,田中徹,Martha Quinn,Ben Mittleman,Peter Kent,Cate Caplin,莫妮卡·里維斯兩位壯漢刑警在調查一起銀行劫案時，發現犯罪分子居然個個刀槍不入。根據線索，他們找到一家公司，似乎最近的很多案件都和這家公司的一個秘密實驗室有關。后來，此兩位硬漢在與犯罪分子的斗爭中不幸相繼殉職，但這恰好給他們創造了機會——兩個人亦成為試驗品，他們的尸體即將被一個懷揣著極大陰謀的邪惡博士所利用……然而，哼哼，英勇的人民公安是不會向犯罪集團低頭的，you can't keep a good cop dead！
午夜之花
