　　克和茱莉婭因?yàn)閿z影在網(wǎng)上相識，兩人分享彼此的攝影作品，并且嘗試在網(wǎng)上交往。在朋友的慫恿下，尼克主動約茱莉婭見面，試圖開始真正交往，不料見面后才發(fā)現(xiàn)，網(wǎng)上的茱莉婭竟然是自己的前妻，因?yàn)槭聵I(yè)觀不合在幾年前離婚了。簡單交談了幾句后兩人為對方安排了一場約會，但都因?yàn)樾愿裨驅(qū)е录s會無疾而終，實(shí)則是因?yàn)楸舜藢Ψ竭€都保留著好感。尼克邀請茱莉婭參加朋友家舉辦的晚會，朋友們都認(rèn)為他們非常般配，他們也有意重新開始。在這關(guān)鍵時刻，茱莉婭的前男友出現(xiàn)，試圖挽回茱莉婭，而尼克的前女友也又一次聯(lián)系了尼克，他們礙于面子，將復(fù)合的事情擱淺在一旁。茱莉婭和尼克各自與前任相處了一段時間后發(fā)現(xiàn)還是忘不了對方，在情人節(jié)的晚上，他們終于放下心結(jié)，重新走到一起。

Ay?e, Ali, Mehmet and Zeynep are middle-class millennials struggling to make ends meet in Istanbul. Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. 　　However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. 　　Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
