　　知名畫家創作的最后一幅作品“惡靈畫像”后離奇死亡了，女設計師張琳和同伴早就聽說過“惡靈畫像”具有詛咒的傳說----見者必死。強烈的獵奇心理驅使貌美性感的張琳走向了尋找“惡靈畫像”的路上，在尋找的過程中不斷遭遇了一系列靈異、詭異事件……身邊同伴不斷失蹤、離奇死亡...... 張琳是否能在探秘的過程中活下來… 是否能夠找到“惡靈畫像”. 真相逐步揭開。

　　音樂家西門(蔡楓華飾)生性風流不羈，乘帶領樂團赴韓演奏之便，探望開設跆拳道館之好友大口(王青飾)。大口投其所好，贊成他在韓國盡情開心，唯獨不能打其妹阿淑(李玄麗飾)主意。但機緣巧合之下西門巧遇阿淑，一見鐘情，阿淑更以身相許。誰知西門對阿淑只是抱玩弄心情，西門假稱要返香港，實則回到大口處向其炫耀其風流史。恰巧阿淑來到探望兄長，聞言傷心欲絕，大口卻氣到七竅生煙。淑獨自躲到雪山，西門冒雪崩危險尋覓阿淑。結果，兩人幾經艱辛脫險后，有情人終成眷屬。

　　Following her mother’s death, manga artist Soriya travels to her ancestral home in Phnom Penh, with hopes of reconnecting with her distant family and using the visit as inspiration for her work. All goes well initially. Renting an apartment in Metta, a rundown Khmer Rouge-era housing complex, her visit to her maternal relatives finds her welcomed with open arms. But Soriya’s waking hours in the apartment and its surroundings are punctuated by terrifying, bloody visions, almost as though she were a conduit for horrors of the past wanting to seep into the present.　　Inrasothythep Neth and Sokyou Chea’s blood-chilling psychological horror explores a personal and political past through the present, transforming a characterful space into an insidious environment. Surrounded by modern high-rises, this decrepit structure, with its brutalist architecture and peeling surfaces, is a relic from a dark period in history whose painful memories it has absorbed. In tracing Soriya’s ominous journey back to her roots, Tenement hints at a necessary reckoning with Cambodia’s political past without overplaying its historical dimension. It’s an impressive work from a woefully underrepresented national cinema.
