 國有大型企業--北方橋梁廠在市場經濟激烈的角逐中，固執地排斥游戲規則，最終被西南橋梁廠擊敗。北方廠項目負責人謝工，寫下遺書，服藥自盡。六個月沒發工資的工人們包圍了廠辦公大樓。鐵道部調現任西南廠廠長辛鐵安"回"北方廠擔任廠長。此時，與北方廠有著千絲萬縷的"血緣"關系的辛鐵 安恰恰正在北方廠探親。在柔情和事業的包圍中，在工人憤怒的圍攻中，共產黨員辛鐵安的斗志被激發了。他發誓要把這條大船，帶進市場經濟的航道。辛鐵安去探視從搶救中蘇醒過來的謝工，他以男人和男人之間的對話，喚醒了一個對舊體制絕望，而對前途十分茫然的知識分子的心。廠里的改革會議，擺出了許許多多難以解決的困難。他首先帶領人們走出困境思維，然后對機構進行徹底的改革，人們帶著半信半疑的態度，開始卷入一場求生存的風暴中。謝工來到會場，提出重新參加市場投標。辛鐵安以敏銳的嗅覺，聞到大戰來臨的味道。他知道這是一次機會，把全廠的力量凝聚在一起，奮力沖殺，把北方廠從計劃經濟的模式中徹底帶入市場經濟的軌道。他和謝工大膽地把目光放在最大的"蛋糕"--公路橋建設上。從而結束北方廠107年只造鐵路橋，不造公路橋的歷史。一場殘酷的競爭，在北方廠、西南廠之間展開。這兩個有著"父子"般關系的廠，有著扯不斷理還亂的親情關系人際網。競爭顯得愈發殘酷，愈發無情。幾經較量，北方廠在17家競爭單位里脫穎而出，奪得了號稱亞洲最大的單塔斜拉公路橋的建筑權。兩個廠在加入WTO后，強強聯手，共同到國際上去參加新的橋梁建設投標。這不是一個夢想，中國的大型國有企業正在這座通向世界的大橋上奮力拼搏。《中國橋》榮獲第三屆電視電影百合獎一等獎和最佳編劇獎。

等待方舟

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

取款機殺人夜

　　一年一度的圣誕佳節終于到來，在狂歡派對上，投資公司職員大衛（布瑞恩·杰拉夫迪 Brian Geraghty 飾）終于鼓起勇氣向剛剛辭職的美麗女職員艾蜜莉（艾麗絲·伊芙 Alice Eve 飾）搭話，聚會中途，二人驅車和他們的朋友科瑞（喬什·派克 Josh Peck 飾）一同返回。此時已近深夜，希望買點兒什么吃的的三個人進入某自動提款機服務站取錢，可是正待出門時卻發現一個神秘陰森的身影站在外面，后者更在眾目睽睽之下殺了一個陌生的流浪漢。　　大衛等人就這樣被困在方寸之間，看似隨機的襲擊事件，一切似乎又盡在神秘之人的掌控之中，他們最終能否逃脫？還是成為恐怖襲擊者的犧牲品？

　　少女芳江（木口亞矢 飾）本是某藝妓館內的低等侍女，她潛心伺候身為當家藝妓的姐姐菊奴（長谷部瞳 飾），但是菊奴對她頤指氣使，絕情絕義。偶然機會，芳江過人的膂力被影野制鐵的少爺影野光（齋藤工 飾）所發掘。影野制鐵表面上是一家大型家族式鋼鐵公司，暗中則受命于國家，擔負武器的制造工作。與此同時，其創始人影野拳山（志垣太郎 飾）懷有不可告人的野心，他四處網羅人生失意的女孩，將她們訓練成美貌與殺傷力并重的藝妓殺手，甚至通過身體機械化改造來加強女孩們的實力。　　懵懵懂懂的芳江與菊奴被騙進入影野制鐵，姐妹倆更被迫互相殘殺。在此過程中，她們為了超越對方而不斷加強訓練和改造，繼而成為影野家族不可或缺的機器人殺手。然而隨著任務的進行，芳江卻漸漸發現親情的珍貴以及影野家族的丑惡用心……
