During the trip, however, the body comes to life and when he sees her, Cemal falls in love with the undead woman. 李明,馮筱童,張雪菡哲學系學生肖墨到殯儀館實習，試圖探尋“生死”答案，卻遭遇導師陳輝離奇死亡。村里流傳一口“應聲井”可讓人起死回生。陳輝之子死于事故后，陳輝在古井許愿，次日離奇失蹤。肖墨隨神秘殯葬師老白頭返村調查，老白頭以科學逐一破解“靈異”現象：井中尸體、養女上吊、濃霧里的鬼打墻等怪事背后皆是精心布局的騙局。當執念遭遇科學，謊言被真相撕裂，眾人方知真正的深淵不在井里，而在人心。

片岡千之助,北香那,望海風斗,山口紗彌加,春海四方,藤田朋子,淺野和之,余貴美子,武田鐵矢,風吹淳,橋爪功錺（かざり）職人のもとに奉公していた幸助（片岡千之助）は、ようやく8年の年季が明けることになった。 幸助は幼馴染のお蝶（北 香那）という娘に想いを寄せていた。 5年前、幸助とお蝶は年季が明けるその日、刻は暮六ツに、萬年橋で會う約束をしていた。 互いに想いながらもこの5年の間、幸助は人には言えない秘密を抱えていた。 また、お蝶の身にも幸助には話せない辛い思いがあった。 橋が見渡せる川辺からそっとお蝶を探す幸助。懐にはお蝶の為に作った簪（かんざし）が入っている。 果たして二人は萬年橋で再會することができるのか……。
