Funny是一個專業的發型師，剛剛與男朋友分了手，所以感到十分傷心、寂寞。而且近來Salon的生意不是太好，她的收入更是每況愈下，令她十分煩惱。 一天，她靈機一動，想出了一個一石二鳥的方法。她在報紙上刊登了一些廣告：「外賣化妝理發，發型師到會」。 自此，她的電話便響個不停，每天都有不少order，收入亦穩定下來。生意能夠那麼好，當然不是因為她的洗頭、理發技術高超，而是倚她所提供的額外服務...... 今天，她又接到了一個order，客人是在中環商業區上班的大公司高層人員。經過一輪正宗的洗頭服務之后，她便開始為客提供客外的服務。

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
